ICAN NV Chairwoman Wins Election
| Israeli-American Civic Action Network (“ICAN”) co-founder, national board member, and Nevada state Chairwoman, Sigal Chattah, wins her primary for Attorney General, defeating her opponent by a wide margin. Chattah’s candidacy is historic. We expect Chattah to win the general election in November, making her the first Israeli-American ever elected to statewide office in the United States. |

California Honors Israeli-Americans
In honor of Israel’s 74th Independence Day, the California Assembly passed House Resolution 99, honoring Israeli-Americans. Full text of the resolution is available here.

$1.8 Million: Commission on State of Hate Fully Funded
| ICAN California’s signature 2021 legislation, Assembly Bill 1126, establishing the Commission on the State of Hate, designed to combat antisemitism and other forms of hate, was fully funded with a $1.8 million appropriation in the final budget proposed by Governor Newsom and the California Legislature. |
